Boat trips to RSPB Havergate Island
Boat trips to RSPB Havergate Island Sail to Suffolk’s only island and discover its wildlife through the seasons. In autumn and winter you can see the vast flocks of waterfowl and wading birds like teal, wigeon and pintail and raptors like marsh harriers and short-eared owls. Regular trips run on the first Saturday of every month only. The RSPB boat leaves Orford Quay at 10 am and returns at 3 pm. Booking in advance (£ 12 / £ 15) is essential on Tel 01728 648 281 (Minsmere).
