In 2009 Iken Barns officially opened 'Hardy's Barn', a light and airy function room perfect for weddings and celebrations.

Due to the idyllic location of Iken Barns we do not allow any amplified music, the sound really travels across the bay and we don't want to spoil the peacefulness surrounding this area.

However, if you dream of in intimate, romantic wedding celebration for up to 60 guests* sat down for a meal in one of the most idyllic places in England you have come to the perfect venue.

Guests can stay in our exceptional self catering converted barns, we can sleep 32 on site alone and the site can be hired for weekend and week breaks so why not extend your celebrations.

If you have a different idea for your dream wedding please do keep us in mind for the accommodation alone, Hardy's barn has also proved to be very popular for a casual light lunch the following day for the wedding party.

Iken Barns is a perfect location for functions, although it sits on the quiet rivers edge it is only five minutes from the A12, 30 minutes from Ipswich, 60 minutes from Norwich and 90 minutes from the M25.

The historic St Butolphs church stands proud across the water and can be reached within a few minutes by car, 20 minutes walk or a horse drawn carriage can be arranged.

We understand that your wedding day is your day and can help you as much or as little as you need, we can offer contacts for suppliers or you can use your own.
