Iken Barns is ideally situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the picturesque Suffolk Heritage Coast, it lends its self well to artists who wish to expand their skills and learn new ones. Our light, spacious Studio has views of the river for 6 miles from Snape to Aldeburgh or for an unforgttable experience why not come out on Dinah the Thames Sailing Barge barge for the day and enjoy the Beauty of the River Alde at it's best.

We have also joined up with local professional "Around Britain" artist Richard Nichols to offer you a superb chance to sketch, paint and explore the beauty of this estuary with its reedbeds, boats, buildings, birds, flora and fauna from Iken Barns.

All abilities and beginners are welcome (equipment can be provided) as Richard likes to spendtime encouraging the development of individual styles with tips & techniques indoors or outside.
